Mr. Ahmad Izham Omar is the CEO of 8TV and the founder of Monkey Bone Records. With a mission to always produce something new, exciting and different, Ahmad Izham Omar has ignited the different industries that he has launched businesses in.
In 8TV he created a strong and very profitable TV brand. Breaking-even in a record of 18 moths, 8TV continues to create a major impact with innovative productions, even receiving global recognition for creative excellence.
He also launched the no. 1 radio station Hot FM, right after the launch of Fly FM, Malaysia’s no. 2 English radio station. Recently he launched One FM, a Chinese radio station. All three radio stations have become very profitable ventures.
Izham attributes his success on giving a lot of empowerment and freedom to the people who work for him. He thoroughly believes in the power creativity, especially when let loose amongst his young employees. “When somebody has a great idea, the best thing a boss could do is to get out of the way” he would always say.
